Bares it All began in 2004 in Hendersonville, NC, to educate women and men about breast cancer prevention and has given survivors a wonderful opportunity to gather together to support one another, celebrate their successes and encourage each other to continue to fight for a cure.

As an organization dedicated to saving lives by offering education, and emotional and financial support to those facing breast, ovarian and uterine cancers, Robin Reed, Founder of Bares it ALL and Debbie Connor, Vice President and Fundraiser, have decided to go through the process of receiving tax deduction benefits for donors, and become a 501 (c) 3 organization.

Bares it  ALL has raised money through an annual calendar, black tie events, poker runs,  and several other annual events.  We also opened a store called "Bares it ALL and Beyond" in 2009 and sell breast cancer related items as well as women's clothing and jewelry.  (see items for sale)  

All of the profits from our fundraising and the store are used to help women in Western North Carolina who need emotional and financial assistance.  

In addition to helping individuals, Bares it ALL has supported The American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Foundation and St. Judes Children's Hospital.  On a local level, we have contributed to Four Season's Hospice and Pallative Care, Pardee Hospital's "Women Helping Women", The Free Clinics, Relay for Life and HOPE - a group dedicated to ovarian, breast and uterine cancers.  We also have started a fund, called "The Hope Cancer Fund" through the Community Foundation of Henderson County.
